Carmen Martinez, our senior consultant, is a dual qualified solicitor (English Solicitor and Spanish lawyer) with more than 15 years of experience in the legal industry, having worked in private practice, at a large city firm, and in-house.

 

In her last role, Carmen was responsible for heading the legal department of a large turnover insurance company. 

 

All these positions have given Carmen the opportunity to gain solid experience in many areas of law. This was particularly the case in her last role, where she had to ensure that all legal aspects of running a high turnover business were taken care of.

Areas of expertise include corporate, commercial and finance law, as well as commercial corporate and consumer insurance  - within the Lloyd's of London market - ship finance, contract negotiation and project management. Employment law,  IT and data protection are amongst other areas of knowledge.
